A few months later, I get a call, not from the director or producer of that pilot TV project I auditioned for, but from the director of another film project.

She was present in the room when I did my audition and thought I'd be great for her project!

Casey Hempel, Disney princess and lover of everything Disney

Casey Hempel, soon to be graduate of the New York Film School asks me to play the mother of the lead character in her thesis film.

She wrote a beautiful short film with touches of humor about misconceptions people have about other people's faith and religion.

Wordless - Comedy Short with link to Video

So the film "Wordless" is a comedy short about a desperate single mom struggling to find love. It had been an official selection at three or more film festivals including #SanDiegoFilmFestival the #BroadHummor Festival and nominated for best comedy at the #FallbrookFilmFestival

After talking to the lovely director Laura Gill pictured to the right of me. She said I can finally allow people to see the film since she's done submitting it to festivals.

Just Wrapped Dangerous Words From The Fearless

I recently got back from Utah where I acted in a supporting role for the film "Dangerous Words From The Fearless". Here is a shot of me in character.

I play a supporting role and have a scene with the lead character whose name is James C. Burns. The film is About "Three people travel through harsh unforgiving landscapes. As they embark on a frenzy of violence, killing and self-discovery, as shattering events make them realize they are not alone." Description: "Dangerous Words From The Fearless is a visually serene, highly metaphoric, and deeply haunting exposition on the essence of the soul. The film is a reflection of the mind's search for escape from its misery. In the end it is inconsequential to the weary, ambivalent seekers. It was all in the journey." Gang Reduction and Youth Development

This is Duane Shepard and me. He hired me to play a judge for the GRYD program, he was putting together to help youth. GRYD stands for Gang Reduction and Youth Development. The project name is called "Snitch". Duane himself is a fantastic actor and teacher, anyone would be lucky to get him in their film.

He had the middle school kids doing the production work, training them to use the monitors and camera, etc... a great program, shoot movies, not people.
